The Wire Supports Panther Love

Having just picked up a Lincoln MKZ , I can’t help but recall the immortal words of the pokwer playing gentleman

“I like me a Town Car – man look quiet and correct in one of them.”

Truer words have never been spoken. I am not quite sure the MKZ confers quite the same dignity and bearing on the person driving it, but we’ll see in a week’s time.

Also, I would love to get my hands on a copy of my mom's 1987 Lincoln Town Car. Best car I ever grew up in... White with blue top and blue interior, those funky wire wheels that weren't wheel covers but looked like they were...

@Compaq Deskpro Well the Town Car did have wire wheel covers. My mom's Town Car didn't have those.

So is it the 2.0 I4 turbo, the six cylinder, or the hybrid? Are there any details available about how the car actually drives (as opposed to whether or not the onboard entertainment/navigation system interacts with your cellphone in a life-affirming manner)?

@DeadWeight Lol as soon as I see MKZ on anything, I think of the rear window issue.

If I was going to drive a Lincoln, I'd rather have my old 1962 Continental convertible back. Or even maybe the 1960 Premiere sedan I had. Lincoln had already gone down the hole by the time the 68's arrived with their gimp flywheel gear and their nylon power window gears.
