The all new fourth generation Range Rover is around the corner. I have already given you all the (available) details of the new Range Rover along with accurate renderings. Now for the reveal dates. Land Rover will unveil the new Range Rover to the media around the 6th of September. Around the 23rd of August, the company will reveal pictures and more details about the vehicle. These details will be revealed online. The new Range Rover will have its first public outing at the upcoming Paris Motor Show in the last week of September.

The new Range Rover (codenamed L405) sits on an all new (D4u – made of aluminum) platform. It is similar in overall body style to the current Range Rover, but with slight influence from the Evoque in terms of lights, grill, etc. The company has vastly improved the rear seat as JLR is now looking seriously at the Chinese market, which accounts for a major chunk of their sales. The new Range Rover will go on sale by November. The old Range Rover (L322) production has not yet stopped but will be halted anytime. The new Range Rover is being built on a new assembly line.

Hmm... Slap on a pair of round headlamps and paint the roof white and it almost looks like another iteration of the Mini, only bigger and longer.
