At 3pm Eastern, TTAC’s software will be upgraded to a newer and hopefully greater version of WordPress. We are promised it will take only 20 minutes, and not to expect any major disruptions. Should you just stare at a blank screen, you know why. If you can read this after 3pm, TTAC has cheated death once again.
Bertel Schmitt comes back to journalism after taking a 35 year break in advertising and marketing. He ran and owned advertising agencies in Duesseldorf, Germany, and New York City. Volkswagen A.G. was Bertel's most important corporate account. Schmitt's advertising and marketing career touched many corners of the industry with a special focus on automotive products and services. Since 2004, he lives in Japan and China with his wife <a href="http://www.tomokoandbertel.com"> Tomoko </a>. Bertel Schmitt is a founding board member of the <a href="http://www.offshoresuperseries.com"> Offshore Super Series </a>, an American offshore powerboat racing organization. He is co-owner of the racing team Typhoon.

I just hope commenting and looking at picture galleries works better on IOS devices now. I was getting kinda tired of having to click the Submit button twice to speed things up, as well as having to chase pics around the screen if I stretched them to enlarge them. Oh, might as well throw in a) annoyance with the bar at the top that disconnects and seems to follow one if one dares scroll down while the page is loading and b) how after one edits a comment, the s/w does not return user to the full article page (but rather just leaves one stranded looking at a "successfully posted" comment note. Forcing one to back arrow and refresh because one is not fwd to th updated page but returned to the old - pre-edited - version of the page.)) Edit: double comment routine still seems necessary.
Will it stop randomly logging me out now?
This isn't running that far behind so the site will be fine, but a couple plugins you run may need upgrading, mostly due to potential haxx0rz.
