I do not subscribe to the school of Panther Love, nor do I pledge allegiance to the Brown Car Gods, but this is just too good. A brown Acura ZDX, spotted at Honda Canada.

I happen to like the Acura ZDX's overall design, as well as that of the Acura MDX with which it shares a platform (among others.) The only thing I don't like about the ZDX is how the tailpipes are integrated into the bumper and rear markers--I think they should protrude, rather than being flush with the body. And the brown paint is a nice touch. The thing people need to remember, though, is that vehicles with odd paint colors like orange, brown, bright-blue, green, etc. have lower resale values because they have lower take rates. That said, even though this color is tempting, unless I wanted to live with it for the rest of its life (which for a Honda-engineered vehicle can be a VERY long time), I would probably elect for something in the greyscale range, perhaps a nice gunmetal grey. And, on a side note, the Acura ZDX looks far better than the bloated whales that are the BMW X6 and 5-Series GranTurismo.
I like the color, but that is the ugliest vehicle that I have ever seen. An Aztek looks beautiful in comparison. It is the "Predator" of ugly vehicles....I can just picture Ahnuld saying "you are one ugly mother f%$^&&er". However, the assembly quality looks quite good....
Rare? I see one of these every few weeks. At the dealer I work at, we have sold no less than five in the Ionized Bronze/Umber ZDX Techs, one Advance as well, I think. One of which went to one of the part-owners of a Twin Cities pro sports team.....
Way back in the early eighties, I made up my mind that brown was actually a very nice colour on a car... as long as at least the wheel rims, and possibly most of the brightwork too, were at least partially gold-coloured. I think it was a brown-metallic Jag XJ6 with "2€" bi-colour BBS rims that inspired -- nay, enlightened! -- me.
