Housekeeping: Gentlemen, Please

I regret to announce that JimC is no longer with us. He has been banned for calling Ray LaHood an “idiot.” Mr. Stones also will no longer comment here. He has been banned for telling JimC: “STFU … You’re the idiot. Probably a jap too.”

For quite a while, Ed and I had a hands-off posture towards moderation. Sadly, this was exploited by some. The tone of some comments has become increasingly aggressive, vile, and sometimes downright insulting. It is time to put a stop to this.

I have endless patience, but enough is enough. I will not edit comments. I hate that. It is like cleaning up messes other people make. It only encourages uncivilized behavior. TTAC is a forum for any opinion. We will not censor it. However, TTAC is not a place for name calling and racist remarks.

Those who overstep these simple boundaries will not be invited back. And now, hopefully, we can go back to our hands-off posture. Thank you very much.
