Mitsubishi And PSA Produce SUV Offsprings
The French-Japanese relations continue to bloom. Here is the latest tie-up. Forget former on-again, then off-again relationships. This time, it’s serious. The Nikkei [sub] reports that Mitsubishi Motors and France’s PSA have tied the knot and will jointly breed new sports utility vehicles.
New SUVs for the Peugeot and Citroen brands will be based on Mitsu’s RVR compact SUV. The car is also known as ASX in Europe, and should arrive in the U.S.A. as Outlander Sport anytime soon.
European buyers can expect the offsprings of the happy couple in early 2012. The target is to make 50,000 SUVs a year and sell them as French.

I wonder if they will will label it at Peugeot as the 4007 like the actual Outlander is. Which engines will each brand will offer? I agree with niky, also I prefer the equipment and look of the Peugeot one.
From this angle, it's looking very BMW snout-like
