You want see the power of torque? Watch these over-boosted big rigs lift front wheels and twist frames as they haul full (oversize?) loads up a hill at the 2009 Rodeo du Camion in Quebec. There’s several more races to chose from after the first. Who said those Canucks were all mild-mannered socialists?

I've actually been to this. It's in Notre-Dame-du-Nord, which is near New Liskeard, Ontario, and it's held August long weekend. Definitely a unique experience. My best memory of the races a few years ago: On the right side of the video you see people standing on a sidewalk. Well the front lawns of the houses there had little "refreshment" stands that sold beer under the table. Here I was standing on the sidewalk, enjoying a brew (I mean Blue) and I notice the guy standing next to me, also drinking a beer. He was one of the on-duty paramedics for the event, in uniform with his full kit. Hilarious. And yes, the poutine was awesome.

The Coors Light banner was a nice touch.

Wheeeeeee. In the grand scheme of things, what harm will that smoke do? I love the wheelie...how much torque do those things have anyway?

Paul, I know trucks are your secret fetish, but please stop now. I used to work with truckers and the 5% who treated their full time job as a hobby are truly some of the scariest people I know. Please don't turn this into a big rig blog!
