    I don't think it's beautiful, but it's cool. I would rather see round headlights. I think BMW did the retro take off of an old model better with the Z8.

    I never thought that Mercedes would stoop to doing a retro car. It must be great for period movie makers. One of these, a mini, a Fiat Bambino, a Camaro and a Challenger and it could be anything from 1950 to 1970.

    You are better off buying an original 300sl. It's value will only increase, and it's likely more fun to drive. --chuck
