Automotive News [sub] reports that former Borden Chemical Inc and Duracell International Inc Chairman C. Robert Kidder (interactive relationship map available at Muckety.com) will replace Robert Nardelli as Chrysler’s chairman.

    Presently it doesn't look like Kidder will be CEO, but just Board Chairman. Nardelli has both roles. Generally I think a company is better served when the CEO and Board Chair are two different people. Jack Welch is, IMO part of the problem with the past thirty years of American Management.
