    Transversely mounted rotary! Are there any front wheel drive rotary powered cars? The first rotary powered car to be built in large numbers (its also the ancestor of most moden Audis and Volkswagens)....the NSU RO80 was a fwd.

    I think Fritz deserves the bonus points on this one. There's a convenient block-off plug just to the inboard side of the brake booster. where the steering column should be. I know electric assist steering is just a hair away from "electric steering" but who really things NHTSA will ever approve full steer-by-wire?

    Assuming it's a hybrid, why does it have a battery under the hood at all? I'd expect there to be a large battery pack in the back or underneath, so why is there a standard battery in the picture?
