If the execs take a pay hit for an expected decrease in profit, what happens to them when Toyota actually reports a loss? Termination of employment? Worse?

Personally, I’d think the Lancer’s turbocharger would be something of a liability for police work.

I’d hope Mitsu upgrades the intercooler system to race-level spec. Basic street setups are simply inadequate for the type of prolonged abusive driving a Lancer police car is likely to see.

But, how can you use a Lancer for police work? I mean, it doesn’t have a body on frame chassis, V8 or rear drive?

I’ll bet you can’t run over more than two curbs ~~at the donut shop~~ in pursuit of as suspect, or do a PIT maneuver on the highway!
