The chrome?
Seriously. How much would chrome plating add to the weight? I’d guess a few hundred pounds.
No front windshield. It tries to imitate the original SLR, but this rendering is definetely not the production version.

It has wheels that look like they are from a late 90’s Pontiac. In fact, with all the cladding, it could be a Pontiac. Drive Excitement.
The little Mercedes-logo windup knob in the grill is a nice touch but it’s too small for my fingers.

I always loved Speedster designs, but I agree, this thing needs a low-profile speedster-style windshield–it just looks kind of stunted this way.
And being rendering, I hope the front end looks slightly less bulbous on the real thing. The spy photos looked better than this.
You can do 200mph+ while distorting your face but still not have as much fun if you had a Lotus 7 or Ariel Atom?

That, and someone should have noticed those exposed pop-rivets…
Besides the lack of a windsheild that everyone has said the exhaust is infront of and above the rear rocker, I’m pretty sure that does not make it legal for sale in the US but at a minumum half a dozen states will not let you register it when the inspection notices that. Dumb rule but a real rule none the less that can make that car a garage queen that can never be allowed on the road. Not that it will be drive on the road anyhow, oddly people who buy million dollar cars never drive them. The lack of a windsheild might be a hang up in legality also but I’m not 100% sure of that.

It’s perfect. You people should be sorry you ever grew up.
The hood (is it bonnet to our friends across the pond?) makes up about 75% of the car! A big hood says power, sure, but this is ridiculous.
(It also screams “small penis compensator” as others have alluded to.)
