Well, if selling what little owns of Suzuki means they won’t be marketing their cars as Chevies, that mightn’t be a bad thing; fewer names to try and promote. On the other hand, selling what little owns of Suzuki means they won’t be marketing their cars as Chevies, that mightn’t be a good thing; my neighbours Chevy Epica sedan (aka Suzuki Verona) has been bullet proof.

In summary, I don’t know how GM gets involved with these things.

And…

GM just announced that the scheduled spring 2009 debut for the Opel Meriva is delayed for one year till spring 2010 ‘because it isn’t a priority to launch the new Meriva’.

The same goes for the Saab 9-5 by the way, which is less shocking, although it affirms once again the sad truth about Saab’s position in GM.
