Comments on: 2006 Suzuki Grand Vitara Review

The new 2009 version of this Grand Vitara should do much better. With the new fuel economy from the four cylinder, I want to check one out to see what it’s like. I hear more off-road capable than the Jeep Patriot. Is that true?

I’m glad they’ve enabled the comments though. It’s interesting to hear what different people actually think. I wonder if car makers have any people whose job is searching for comments like the ones on this site. I hope they do.

I don’t think you’ll find any comments at this site dated prior to June 15, 2006. Commenting was enabled retroactively for older reviews. This review is from February ‘06. Make sense?

I can’t understand how come Jeep Patriot’s review gets 9 pages worth of reader comments, and the Grand Vitara, which is a better vehicle virtually in every respect short for the ground clearance and maybe fuel consumption, gets one solitary comment.

Suzuki makes Wonderful SUV’s and Cars, the New Grand Vitara isn’t either. However it is a nice all round SUV. Just enough SUV in it so that it isn’t in the same Market as a CRV, probably placing it in between that and a Liberty. Its just a Shame that Suzuki’s first Uni-frame SUV isn’t all that rugged. THe previous model was the closest competition to the wrangler on the market.
