I’m assuming you’re posting these to show how cheap cars have gotten and that these are good prices, right?
That commander is still overpriced by $10,000.
I just checked a dealer, and they’ve got a 2006 with 33K miles for $11K. Think that’s a fluke? They have FOURTEEN more 2006 Commanders–none over $14,500. And that includes a 20K mile HEMI.
How much would I pay? For this Chrysler product with an automatic transmission? $7,000 used, $10,000 new. Tops.

They also have a new 2008 GMC Yukon XL Denali for $17K off MSRP if anybody’s interested.

Why buy failure when you can buy a BMW
January 10th, 2009 at 11:53 am
I’m sorry, which BMW can you buy for $65k that can get around the Nurnburg Ring in 7:42.9 ?
January 10th, 2009 at 2:31 pm
It’s Nürburgring.
Why buy a car based solely on how fast it can make the lap?

Edmunds says that Jeep is invoice $33k with $4.5K on the hood. V8 305hp RWD 6300lbs 15mpg combined 316 mile range. $26.7K is not such a great deal when the 2009s are already out.
Given those numbers I am not sure I would want it for free if I actually had to drive it. But would agree $10 -12K sounds about right if you would have a use for it and understand reliability issues involved with recent Chrysler products.

True, but then why buy a tarted up Mondeo competitor when you can buy something interesting?
January 10th, 2009 at 6:06 pm
The Kerbeck prices require a lease of some GM vehicle for $1000 off, and GM owner loyalty for another $1000 off. $42.5K for an ‘09 Corvette still isn’t bad.

You’d have to pay me to buy ANYTHING chevycrap built or DOAchryslerCRAP.
I’ll happily buy a new BMW for MSRP.
And did- CASH.
GM-Chrysler CRAP co’s can pay the media and advertise as much as they want how supposedly “SURPRISE” our cars are as good - NO THEY AREN’T EVEN CLOSE.
Only thing they are good for are rental fleets and those are going away as well. Oh wait, and depreciating faster than your father’s OLDS! HAHA
GM-CHRYSLERLLC = BANKRUPT seriously man how can anyone think they can service this 65B in debt let alone EVER pay it back?
Go take your Vette to Europe. America now buys more BMW-AUDI-MB-TOYOTA-HONDA-NISSAN-… than Detroit. The trend will continue. I predict 60-40

“Why buy failure when you can buy a BMW”
There’s a difference?
Used Commanders are too easily available to make a new one worth it.
“GM-CHRYSLERLLC = BANKRUPT seriously man how can anyone think they can service this 65B in debt let alone EVER pay it back?”
They won’t and they shouldn’t.
