Actually, as disturbing and sick as this fact is – the Mustang is the SECOND most modded car in America.

#1 is the Chevy Cavalier.

VTEC (and more recently iVTEC) is Honda’s name for variable valve timing/lift via cam lobe rotation. VTC I believe is Ford’s acronym for their similar system. There’s VVTL-i from Toyota, MIVEC from Mitsubishi, VVL from Nissan, and the list goes on and on and on.

Disciples of the “temple of VTEC” may take offense to being lumped together with modded ‘Stangs.

That’s not to say that SEMA ain’t Honda-heaven for some.

White wall tires were never out. Now I just need to find that case of Wessley’s Bleach White I put away in 87.
