I occasionally tweet big stories on TTAC’s official account. I do a few twitter searches per day, sniffing for stories. I once registered for a personal Twitter account, stared at it for about 20 seconds and then promptly deleted it.

Well, it appears that Angus MacKenzie does read TTAC, so read this: I will not renew my subsciption to your shitty magazine when it expires. You people are a joke and have no room to make any other auto website/publication. Piss off MacKenzie.
Notice how GM is turning to new media, a couple of car blogs, for a high profile promotional event, and didn’t use the traditional buff books.
This is just sour grapes from legacy media.

I too find that twit to be both funny and accurate, and I have to applaud TTAC for posting it; doing so reduces your pompousness greatly. Jalopnik on the other hand is still pretending this is a private race between Maximum Bob and themselves.

“Pompous” is way off the mark. The WSJ hit the target by labeling TTAC “acerbic.“

Whatever. I like MT. They are way better than they used to be. Good content, and far better than what C&D has become…thin, forced, utterly lacking in creative juices or originality, a far cry from what they used to be.
Man, I never realized TTAC was pompous! Time to break out the top hat and the monocle!

Jack B., that’s a great comment. I think all car manufacturers and publishers/editors should read TTAC. Not everything presented here might be true, or even if true it might not be presented in the best way, but at least it offers a different point of view, some food for thought. That can be priceless.
