This is one of the reasons I avoid People Magazine like the plague. I could care less what celebrities drive. Or think. Or dress. Or have divorced. Or… ad nauseum.

I should add that Daniel Craig makes a fine Bond, but who cares what he drives (or crashes) in real life. Even if it was an Aston employee who crashed the DBS, right?

If Aston would foot the bill for my Insurance + Garaging + Maintenance, sure I’ll take a V8 Vantage.

Otherwise, in any mildly realistic world, I’d take an out-of-warranty used Elise as my weekend car and do most of the maintenance myself.

~$35k used + TCO factors sounds much more doable.

Just got back from London. Inside zone 1, the traffic proceeds at less than walking pace. The only way to get around that is faster than walking is the tube (subway to you yanks). OTOH, I’ll bet Mr. Craig, who bears a strong resemblance to Russian strong man Vladimir Putin, can afford a weekend place in the country now.
