Seems like paranoia to me.

Just what we need, more distracted drivers texting (while driving) locations of every cop the pass on their way to work. And the other ones looking (while driving) at their i-phones to determine where the cop might be.

I say, knock yourself out with such “technology”. Just please don’t slam into while ghost hunting.

I suspect that anything that puts a serious dent in the ongoing highway robbery being committed by those sworn to “protect and serve” will soon be illegal.

Interesting concept! Any idea of the legality? I’ve heard of people getting pulled over for flashing their lights (the customary signal to warn other motorists of “driving hazards”).

As of this writing, the Trapster front page has a notice reading “A message to our users: Service troubles, our most sincere apologies…” If they can fix the bugs though, and keep it free… this could be pretty cool.
