This is why I enjoy Firefox + Greasemonkey so that I can display=none the ID tags that display the comments. It’s the only way to survive an Autoblog experience. Or Anandtech.

In non-dork terms, I turn comments off. Everywhere.

And yes, Apple sucks. Great hardware, horrendous software. I hate Apple zombies. BMW is different: great cars, but too often people driving them have no idea of what they have in their hands, and care only about the propeller badge.
