  I liked the old one better. But it will be the closest thing to a gen1 xB replacement out there.

  I like it. Hell if I was not so far upside down on my current car I would consider getting one.

  I see that they did not flip the hinges on the rear hatch from the left hand drive model. That will suck when trying to parallel park or back up to the right.

  I put 25,000 miles a year on my 2006 Xb, if this is still sold when I hit 200,000 miles (my goal). I’ll get a cube if Scion doesn’t return to their roots.

  That. Is. Hideous.

  Not as bad as an Azteck.. but I’d be seen in a first gen Tribeca before I’d be caught dead in that bubbly monstrosity. The original xB was a beauty queen compared to this, and it was simply the epitome of right angles in motion.

  I can imagine the design team’s thought process..

  “The xB was a hit, but we can’t just rip that off..”
  “”I know, lets melt one and call it our own!”"

  I love the previous Cubes but I have to express some disappointment with this one. It seems that whenever something comes to the U.S. it gets ruined somehow.

  I also like the old one better. But I think it’s a creative way to package a small car. Only problem is rear door opens on wrong side for US market, same as Rav4. I hope that some creative interior motifs make the trip over.

  I like it. It’s cool and quirky, and the proportions are good. I particularly like the large glass area, which is a counter-fashion trend that works well with it (contrast those with the small window area of the xB).

  It’s not a ripoff of the xB, by the way. The original Cube was released way back in 1998 and was a box-on-wheels shape (hence the name).

  I like it too. It’s different but unique at the same time, and has a nice dash of style to it. I hope the interior and driving dynamics live up.

  Nice to see that they’ve kept the asymmetrical rear window. That was an interesting design choice in the old Cube, and one that set it apart from practically everything else.

  yea iam 19 and i was jus turning of driving age wen scion came to the us back about 5 years ago. memo to nissan:your late. the japanese weird ass car craze is over. it was over wen the first gen xb which was cool tuned into the second gen. i dont think this will do well. maybe iam wrong but i have a feeling it wont

  The fit has competition in this thing? Hm. Maybe. This seems aimed at the “I wanna be cute and functional” demographic, and the fit seems aim at the “I wanna be frugal and functional” demographic.

  Give me a fit over this any day. Leave the boxes with wheels in the 1980s, please thanks.

  I’m not sure what I think. I love the original xB, always did. But this thing reminds me of the Element. I loved it when it came out, and gradually I came to dislike it. Very ugly face, and Pontiac-inspired cladding. There is something very strange about the styling on this cube and I’m not sure it will wear well for me.
