That's just peachy that you're in love and if this were 1776 again his singular view might work but, certainly not today.

You are lucky Americans, You live in a time, when inevitable changes are about to occur. Don`t make the same mistake , your Bible holders did two K years ago, nailing the wrong guy. You have the guy. Just look into his eyes, his sincerity of heart. His love can hug the whole America , her sacred plains and prairies, her divine creeks and Montana immaculate skies.her freedom dancing flag, and the stamp that approved it. He speaks out more wisdom , than wiki, is more nutritous than milk from your grandmother`s cow, and is more convincing than a switch near an electric chair. A 72 years old gray haired little man with wrinkled face and average complexity, yet the biggest I have seen, and the most beautiful a country can dream of. Ron, Latvia loves you, The whole world loves you. And you only resonate in those people who behold similar features -wisdom through heart. Is Mitt a good candidate? I don`t know, and don`t care. I have found ....a founding father. Ron, it is my honour to live in a time when you live. God bless You! And America!

Willard is NO Reagan republican! Hell, he isn't even a republican.

Which Reagan republican would promise not to raise taxes but then turn around and raise fees and create new ones to bring in over $400 Million dollars and then raise the taxes for companies to almost double??

Which republican can you point to that ran to the left of Ted Kennedy for his senate seat??

Which republican can you point to who permanently banned a long list of firearms for an entire state of the US of A??

This is the very short list of the treasonous subversions, pandering and outright lying of this clown.

<i>carguy:
Both Mitt and Hilary are members of that most fascinating political of species - the chameleon.</i>

Yeah. The whole pandering thing is such a turnoff. And while I lean GOP on most issues, I'm no Hilary hater - I'm kinda resigned to her winning in November.

And she won't be <strike>liberally</strike> horrific; Charles Krauthammer had her number when he wrote that Hilary would sell out anyone/any principle/any party to stay in power. Which is a good thing for America and the GOP(long term).

His father ran American Motors rather sucessfully and was a rather liberal Republican Governor of Michigan. Mitt does have a background in the car business and in Michigan were he was born and raised.

Both Mitt and Hilary are members of that most fascinating political of species - the chameleon. Endowed with the gift to dynamically adjust their views on any issue depending on the audience that they find themselves surrounded by and oblivious to their own condition, they continue unabated even when confronted by TV footage of their own previous contradictory opinions.

Just wait until Mitt campaigns in California - he'll bleed green to demonstrate his deep concern for the environment and in South Carolina he'll be so socially conservative, he’ll make James Dobson look like a liberal.

His name is actually Willard Milton Romney which suggests everything about the man.
Imagine having the same name (which is so nerdy) as Bill Clinton's nickname for his cock (according to Joe Esterhaus, American Rhapsody, Fatal Attraction etc)
Mitt is taken from Milton which sound like he had it crafted by a campaign strategist.

Is he planning to ban the sales of Camcords?

I dunno about Mitt. There is just something about him that sets off my Spidey Sense...like...nothing sticks to him.

I'd like to see Ron Paul in office, and if he gets to the primaries in Texas I'll be slinging him my vote, but I think Farago has a better chance of being hired as GM's Press Rep than Paul getting the nomination.

I see this as a step in the right direction, though nobody can blame Detroit's prediciment on Uncle Sam. It seems as if Mitt (what kind of a name is that? Is it short for anything?) is proposing that we do let the market regulate itself by relaxing some of the government <strike>over</strike>regulation, although the amount of R&D money is a lot to take from the taxpayers' potluck. I don't know much about the man, and he's not "my candidate" but I like hearing a politician say that he's going to try to help the economy by having the government step back a bit.

This could be a nice bone to throw to the big 2.8, but it wouldn't be an end-all solution and I wouldn't put it past the folks in suits to burry it and forget where they put it and then beg for more.

what ever happened to the old republican ideal of letting the market regulate itself with minor government intervention to keep things running smoothly and provide a legal/safety framework?
