i dont know what the problem is. the IS is the best looking car toyota, scion or lexus has.
with the top down, i say it looks good. convertibles hardly ever look good with the top up. for me its as goodlooking as the 3 series hardtop vert.

Right now, there are a lot of folks making good money who are worried about the future. They want a luxury brand, they want a convertible, but they now want something that won't quit on them if three years from now they are out of work and don't want to spend 1500 on an electrical problem.

Lexus will sell plenty of these.

I was begging to see the IS line expanded. Guess I should have shut up. It's a toss up between the Sebring and the IS over which is uglier.

I think I'm leaning towards the IS.

The only question I ask is why. Not "Why the hardtop" or "Why is the car so bland?" but "why wasn't this done to the ES instead?"

Really, the IS is a pretty good car, but it's too small and too harsh to be a good boulevardier. The ES, though, is practically begging for the chop, and there's a history given the Solara.

As controversial as Bangle's designs are, they are at least interesting to look at. This is just ... vanilla.
