Actually mine fully loaded had a $72,045 sticker when it was new in 2003. Best damn car I've ever owned right after my 2001 BMW 330i.

It is no consequence of course that this thing is for all intents and purposes, a BMW through 2005.

I'll tell you why everybody doesn't have one, because not everyone has $77,250 to spend on an SUV that gets around 14 MPG. But I wish I did.

I personally own a 4.4 V8 vogue version of the range rover and i find it a brilliant car. ~If find it is practical round town and easy to jump in and out of and chuck things on the back-seat for day to day use. I find the RR has great round town grunt to pull away and the suspension responds well when i chuck the car into corners. It is fine for motorway driving, especially inthe sport suspension setting and feels good to drive. I also have a DB9 and Bentley Arnage T, both sporty and quick with fair handling, and i do not feel at all disappointed when i get back in my RR and welly it! It is also rewarding to drive in the sense that when you get out of it you feel comfortable, undisturbed and it is easy to drive so makes phone calls, and other thoughts easy to contend with as i drive.
Why doesnt everybody have one????
