The phrase “better seen than heard” comes to mind.

It looks terrible, and when he upshifts, it sounds like a five year old making engine sounds for his Matchbox cars.
Just sad.

Yes, so cretins like looking at shiny cars and curvaceous women. Other people enjoy the art & passion of automobiles. I find it somewhat annoying that we’re linking to this asinine, content-less video; also, it isn’t really newsworthy to report that neanderthals make car videos too. Aren’t these guys the geniuses behind bikini driving school?

hey the video is different from the one originally posted, ignore my previous comment.

Nice – racing through neighborhoods with an engine straw modded into the cockpit.
But that aside, I think it’s genius that they have found the ultimate cold air intake – turn on the a/c and run it from the vent into the intake – I’d bet it makes another 50whp.

Hey Robert, when you change the video it sort of transforms the early comments into nonsensical poetry. ;)
Should write all my comments in iambic pentameter or haiku from now on?

That is pretty good, but the funniest thing I have ever seen is the “Direct Exhaust Injection” concept diagramed by some kid on a Corvette forum. His idea to cut out the middle man of exhaust driven turbos and to directly inject exhaust gasses in to the combustion chamber is classic hall of fame material.

So cold air intake = more better when the A/C is blowing in it?
They should go one more step, passenger holding leaf blower coupled to the intake tube.

These kids should have a golf cart so they do’nt endanger anyone.

I can’t understand for the life of me the appeal of driving a leaf-blower. Especially when kids get the ridiculous bolt on spoilers, body kits, etc. The car not modded usually looks like crap, and the modded stuff does not make your 10 year old civic look or go better. I can attest to smoking one of these things in my grandfathers old Chevy lumina a while back.

I totally recognize those roads. Unless I’m seriously mistaken, these idiots are from my hometown in Tennessee! Fortunately, I don’t know anyone that stupid.
…ok, let’s just say I don’t know anyone that stupid with a Civic.

WTF, those kids planning on entering that thing in a desert off road race, or crossing deep water. They should have routed the exhaust into the cabin, not the intake.

This is so incredibly lame. Here’s something I’ve never understood about people who “tune” Hondas and Toyotas: Both automakers seem to go out of their way to make some of the quietest, smoothest running 4 cylinder engines on the planet…and then some idiot tacks a bunch of expensive shit on to one to make it sound loud and raucous. It doesn’t sound cool at all, not even close. A V8 or even a V6 engine sounds far cooler than the booming baritone fart sound of these tuned 4 cylinders.
