Actually, they streamlined it for the press release. I think it was originally more like:

GMC and Pontiac today announced pricing for two new models arriving in dealerships ~~not already bankrupt~~ in early 2009 ~~or 2010 or 2011~~, further reinforcing the channel’s reputation for ~~badge engineering~~ value combined with inefficiency and ~~clueless~~ capability

Let’s see. A slow, expensive car, with poor MPG for it’s class, no center armrest, a clock that only displays military time, and absolutely no advertising? Yeah, I’ll believe they have over a year’s supply of them gathering dust.

It’s a shame they can’t just swap the grilles on some of the Aveos they’ve already made. Days supply is currently over 100.

This car doesn’t even make sense. A base vibe is $16,735 on http://www.pontiac.com. And they are offering $500 cash back now, so it’s only $16,235. I would way rather have a Toyota built Vibe than a Daewoo built Aveo.
