Rick W:As a 36.2 yr hourly employee GM has provided me with a wonderfull living.Having said that, with shaking hands an a lump in my throat I just signed up for the Canadian buy out program.
In spite of everything I read I believe GM is moving in the right direction.Don’t let us down sir.

“From my perspective it’s quite bright”
Sure, you have a monster pay package and a bankruptcy proof retirement plan. Why should you be worried?

Even since you first announced you would create a “turnaround” at GM NA, you have singularly failed to announce a single hard target for that recovery. Not GM’s market share. Nor its income. Nothing. Given that publicly-stated goals are a necessity for executive accountability, will you now commit to a series of timelines and targets that will indicate whether or not your administration is helping GM return to profitability?

I don’t think any TTAC commentors that aren’t cheering Rick will be seen on the Fastlane blog. Descent will not be tolerated at GM.

Ha!

Ok let me fix that so I don’t look so stupid.
Dissent will not be tolerated at GM!
That’s what I get for typing while holding my 4 month old screaming in my ear.
Descent will be tolerated at GM, descent in market share, descent in profit, descent in employment, etc.
Kudos to RF for getting his question up on the Fastlane blog. Now lets see if they answer it.

Sounds like a former boss. Lots of words, not much information.
