Really enjoyed the interview (and having worked with folks in RI as a lobbyist, I loved hearing the “draw-mur” of the dialect).

I liked the way Robert asked about 911 owners buying “down” to the Cayman and how Kirk responded (essentially saying that the Cayman is a great car in its own right).

I’ve never been a Porsche guy, but Kirk and the Cayman S are changing my mind.

I worked at Inskip as the Internet Manager for 2 1/2 years. You won’t find a better guy than Kirk. I’ve got lots of respect for him.

Whether it is a bigger-engined Boxster, or a small displacement version of the Cayman, just as long as Porsche finds a way to make its margins with something other than SUVs. I know, I know, they “needed to diversify” as a company – or so the head honchos said (as they looked eagerly at the BMW X5 ) And Dr. Porsche once designed a pretty neat tractor, also.
I’m sorry, but living in Seattle, I’ve tired of seeing folks in SUVs (although the street fight is between big-ass SUVs and Toyota Priuses). Of course, if I lived in Beverly Hills, I’d likely tire of folks in yellow Lambos and white Mercedes. Please Mr. Stingle, take the company back to its sports car roots (and no German versions of the Corvette this time).

Also, I have a crazy, crazy on-ramp to my freeway, so I do at least one 0-60 every day. And I noticed that the WRX is faster than the Boxster.

That said, I’ll take a Boxster, please. Oh hell, make it an S.
