Interesting footnote to this vehicle is that it is not a product of the Chinese branch of the MG family, but a separate company called MG X-Power who are run by William Riley. Somehow he obtained the MG X-Power rights under the nose of the chinese.

William Riley himself has an interesting heritage. He is of the famous Riley family whos company produced some of the 1930's best sporting cars. That brand is currently owned by BMW which is presumably why he chose MG.

I'd be willing to drive that, but only on October 31st, and only while wearing a Frankenstein mask.

Search YouTube for Top Gear's review of the MG SV to see what it's all about. It's been around forever.

Hmmm, a Z3 with Audi headlights, a Dodge grill, and...fish gills. What a great idea. Do they call it "WRC" in some attempt to presume that it's rally-inspired, or is there another meaning for that acronym of which I'm not aware?

Casual Observer, to work on the engine, you just reach in through the vents and tinker away. I believe there are enough vents for a team of up to 8 mechanics. Brilliant design, very sexy and functional.

The MG X-Power SV was based on the old Qvale Mangusta with a Ford V8 mounted up front. Previously it was an all carbon fiber car.
