Sure, I’ll correct you…sort of. The Hyundai 5 year/60,000 mile “New Vehicle” warranty IS transferable…but the 10 year/100,000 mile powertrain warranty gets bumped down to 5/60 for the next lucky owner…per the Hyundai website:

“Second and/or subsequent owners have powertrain components coverage under the 5 year / 60,000 mile New Vehicle Limited Warranty.”

Not bad. Perhaps you’re thinking of Chryslerebus and their non transferable “lifetime” powertrain warranty.

One of our contractors in Wyoming is a North Dakota crew. They talk just like the Minnesotans in the movie and I’ve never been able to get a straight answer out of them as to why their state is “The Peace Garden State.” Super bunch of guys, though. Hard working. They drive Chevys.
