Thanks for the heads-up guys. I was going to alert you that we were making the switch to the new WordPress platform but it kinda took me by surprise (if you know what I mean).

We've pinged the programmers re: the podcast and the iTunes thing is on the to-do list. Meanwhile, your patience is MOST appreciated.

Cool new podcast applet, but it doesn't work for me in Firefox. MP3 link is also down. Good thing I got a listen before the switch.

Love the new edit function, too. 5 minutes is more reasonable than an hour.

So, what is it when your dash stops working in your Civic and the transmissions dies less than 100k into ownership? Just bad luck? I guarantee you that there are those of us who have had terrible experiences with foreign models and dealers alike.

I like TTAC's casting aside of Toyota's sales issues. The Prius has inventory problems, fine. Would a full inventory of Prii make up for the 50k units Toyota lost last month? What about their record-high incentives? Oh no. They're Toyota. That's right.

Well, at least someone thinks the solar panels are a crock.

The demand for upscale 4-cylinder cars is real. The sales mix of the Focus is almost 70% SE Sport Pkg and SES. Ford was expecting about 40% based on last year's trends. It's true that the Sports Car/Truck buyers will be hard to convince that a turbo'ed V6 is > a V8, but the nearly $2000 increase in transaction price in Focus is at least some anecdotal evidence that trends are changing. The Fusion/Camry/Accord will never be a complete Audi competitors, but they could get much closer with the right packaging and some good efficient powertrains.
