Agree with the first comment about that “other” site (LLN). Absolutely unreadable and completely detracts from reasonable discussions on the topic — cars!

There’s a difference between being a bit snarky and acting like junior high school boys snapping towels in the locker room.

Thanks, RF, for all your efforts to get TTAC to this tipping point; it’s the reason TTAC is the only car site which I read regularly, and the only website of any sort on which I’m willing to post comments (though I only comment occasionally). I had someone finally respond to one of my comments last week and I realized I was subconsciously worried about getting flamed. My concerns were misplaced, of course, and the follow-up comment made an excellent point. My experience is highly indicative of the quality of the commentary on this site. Best and brightest, indeed.

And, yes TTAC CLEARLY has the best and brightest. You have tossed very few over the years considering the traffic on this site. Once in a blue moon, when I am waiting for new editorials to pop up, (seems a bunch get loaded at once and I try to digest them all in an hour!)I get impatient. On a few occasions I wandered to another car site and man, the letters! It was night and day compared to TTAC! They were written by juveniles who could not spell and liked to curse because it made them feel older. Calling each other names and all sorts of sophomoric behavior because their x box was on the fritz. I wont mention left lane news by name, but, oops I did… Our readers are a different bunch I guess. Diplomas and all.
