Uh yeah, that $25B just happened to appear in the energy bill. I bet the D3 were lobbying against the inclusion of $25B in loan guarantees. Seeing as how healthy they are, they wouldn’t want something like $25B in loan guarantees possibly ruining their reputation.

Anyone wonder if Jim still thinks the upfront payment for leaving Toyota was worth it? Those Cerberus people can’t be any nicer to him than the Caucasian-resistant Toyota board was.

That, and something tells me he never used to lose sleep at night wondering what he was going to be do after his company ceased to exist.

It’s the Honda Inspire, I believe, that corresponds to the USDM Accord (and for confusion’s sake, the JDM/Euro Accord is more like the TSX).

I agree with Justin’s comments on the ix55 – and now that Hyundai has the “Genesis” name, it’ll only confuse things more (and further cloud their brand identity). It’s a game of “me too” – it seems they want to go alphanumeric just because everyone else is, which is a horrid reason if I’ve ever heard one.
