Cerberus would be foolish to walk away from the huge pile of clown cash the ~~vote buying~~ concerned feds are hurling their way.

Where else will they find such a cheap source of fresh capital to finance their other acquisitions?

The whole point of this was to counter the argument that the recent (good) introdutions by GM and Ford show they’ve learned their lessons?? That’s the best “bad recent” examples you could come up with? On the GM side you’ve got the Aveo and the G3 (same car) and then the Uplander (you call that introduction recent?) and Impala (ditto).

I’m convinced.

Phelan isn’t feeding his beloved Chrysler to the wild beasties for the sheer fun of it (that’s our job).

You sure that statement isn’t merely tongue-in-cheek? No disrespect intended, but some of the comments I encounter around here really make me wonder sometimes.
