Pontiac GTO
Another part of Bob Lutz’s plan to “nourish” Pontiac with products, the heavy GTO – a rebadged Holden Monaro – landed with a dud. After the dealer ripoff period, sales were atrocious. They make an excellent used bargain in the mid to high teens today, especially the 400 horsepower versions. I’d have put one in my driveway if it had side airbags.

It’s the most beautiful Cavalier I’ve ever seen.
Screw the side bags and put one in your garage.
You would overlook a car over side airbags? I’m sure there must be other factors…
I have an ‘06. The most fun car I have ever owned, and I have owned a lot of cars.
Oh, the Cavalier joke? So old.
Sorry UnclePete.
I’m must admit that I’m new to making jokes about this car. But apparently others having making jokes about it for a few years now.
Sory aboot the speeling & grammer. Inglish was not my first langwage (baby talk was). Or maybe my brain just works faster than my fingers.
What I meant to say to Uncle Pete was:
Sorry UnclePete.
I must admit that I am new to making jokes about this car. But apparently others have been making jokes about it for a few years now.
I’m sure it would have seemed more clever had I got it right the first time. Or not.
