The Yukon listed above got my attention, and it’s pretty sharp, but with gas prices as they are now, I simply can’t justify spending that much on a vehicle that gets relatively poor mileage.
That’s awesome. I’ll take the ‘93 Civic for $1.25 million. What a bargain! Is Autotrader screwed up, or are the people/dealers listing these vehicles just stupid?
some are probably legit, like the denali, just typed in the price (including 95 cents) – just move the decimal place over two spots and it’s ONLY 27k!
as for the civic, the description says it all:
“great car.. go very fast with 12 cyilondor lamborghini engine… has 3 turbos.. one blue up.. only 1.25 million dola”
Is it possible to conduct the transaction “under the table,” so to speak? I’d like to save enough in sales tax to buy a summer home.

At those prices significant portions of the cars must be made of solid platinum (not just the cat) and every available space must be packed with cocaine. Otherwise, you’re paying too much.
Either that or it comes with its own oil well.
I have an ‘04 FX35 with AWD, same color, 45K mileage. I’m asking $1,700,000 but I could probably be talked down to $1,500,000 if you offer to pay the smog fee and I don’t have to have it detailed.
Or even better, maybe I should take it to that dealership and ask 1.25 million trade-in value.
Either these things have hidden turbofan engines, or the chassis was made entirely of titanium with the interiors dripping of platinum. Jeez…
I think Autotrader’s default settings make it list highest priced cars first when you search for a car, unless you specify otherwise. Maybe that’s the reason? Ebay Motors > Autotrader any day!
The other day, there was a 2006 Infiniti M35 Sport with low miles that had only a 12k bid (no reserve) on it with 2 minutes left.

Yes, but you can re-sort from low to high if you want once you get the results. I found these with a search for cars from $1-5m I did just to see what I’d get.
These were just a few of them. You’d think the posters would proofread before they posted them, but I also found Towncars and others listed for $999,999 (for those of you who are bargain shopping).
By the way, there were a two legit listings in the over one million dollar range – both of them Enzos. There’s also a Ford GT listed in the million dollar neighborhood.
I sometimes look at http://www.mobile.de to look what is on sale across the eastern border in the land of the Germans (since the Netherlands is a tiny country with high tax rates the supply of interesting used cars is a whole lot smaller, and therefore price levels are higher) and you find this sort of thing quite often.
If you’d like to import some Alpina BMWs or other exotic cars from Europe/Germany it might even be worth a look, eventhough the dollar is quite low and the costs are going to be high…
Also, why do people use ALL CAPS in these advertisements. Every time I see that I immediately in the discription I dismiss it.
