It was *really* interesting. No, not really, but it's not outside the realm of possibility. I probably spent more time at the main branch of the Iowa City Public Library than some of the staff did, and in the same timeframe as you mention. Sorta like when Boris and Natasha stole the 54 Packard plans so Fearless Leader could ride in a Zil. Those were hand wrought too.
