    I guess nobody at TTAC has yet noticed this yet... But Subaru had a magical girl anime not long ago (Hokago no Pleiades), and right now Toyota has it's own anime (Peace Eco Smile). So I would say Toyota is pushing full out to raise their profile and encourage driving and getting cars - even if it requires the most subtle of brainwashing...
