Ferrari F12berlinetta, No Longer In CGI

The initial shots of the Ferrari F12berlinetta looked suspiciously re-touched for our liking, so some live shots were a necessity before making any final judgement on the car. If you ask me, it looks even better without excessive rendering.

The F12berlinetta replaces the lovely 599, but packs an even more substantial V12; 740 horsepower is expected from the 6.3L V12, allowing it to hit 60 mph in 3.1 seconds. A 7-speed dual clutch transmission will help the car go all the way to 211 mph. A curb weight of 3,362 lbs is refreshingly light for a V12 supercar.

Does anyone know what that black plastic box in the middle of the rear bumper is?! I'm undecided on the overall look, however I am sure about not wanting my Italian supercar leave the factory with something that looks like a bolted on afterthought for... whatever... I can't even imagine what it could be for...

  My guess would be a rear fog-lamp but they're supposed to be placed towards the driver's side of the vehicle and not in the centre. It could also be a reversing lamp.

It's like the CR-V, in that it has a very attractive mouth; it's just a bit out of scale to the rest of the facia. Fortunately, both look better after a toke. They're kinda like Gina Gershon.

Spookiness They'll keep chasing this dream/fantasy*, but maybe someday they'll realize their most valuable asset is their charging network.(*kind of like Mazda with rotary engines. just give up already.)
MaintenanceCosts If you really really want a stick-turbo-brick, damn the cost, this one might make a pretty good starting point for an overhaul/restoration. But the cost will be such that you better be very committed to the concept.
Kwik_Shift_Pro4X Style wise I'll give Volvo props for making boxy sporty. I would love one like this, but too much money pit potential.
