Meet TTAC Part Deux: Jack's On Tour

Did you miss today’s meetup? Located somewhere else in the country? Are you interested in meeting a sensitive Scorpio? Want a ride around a racetrack? Are you furious about a particular article and want to confront the author directly? If the answer to any of these questions is “Yes”, then take a moment to take a look at my schedule for May and early June.

May 7-8 SCCA National Solo Tour – Atlanta Motor Speedway

May 14-15 Testing 2011 Mustang V6 Performance Package – Summit Point Raceway, Shenandoah Circuit

June 3-4 24 Hours Of LeMons – MSR Houston

June 10-11 NASA Midwest Regional – Grattan Raceway, Michigan

The night of May 7, I may be looking to return to Fogo de Chao, hopefully without the public drunkenness and waitress-pinching which marred my previous visits. (Apologies to Steven Lang.) Why not come along and listen to me spin patently untrue tales of murder, seduction, thievery, and texting while driving? I should be in a rare mood, as I expect to finish DFL in a very competitive class.

On May 14 and 15, I will be offering rides in the Mustang V6 Performance Package around the Shenandoah circuit, which features a mini-Carousel and a mini-mini-Corkscrew. First come first served. I also have room for one more student on those days, register on TrackDAZE and put my name in the comments line.

Any volunteer crew willing to work either of the June events will receive some special token of my appreciation, which could include cash and/or priceless garbage from an auto show.

I’m looking forward to meeting/re-meeting/being punched by YOU!

One of the craziest things about Fogo de Chão is that even though it's a Brazilian Stakehouse, there are more units in the US than here back home. It's great though. Jack, order yourself Picanha com alho (which I think translates to garlic sirloin) and Fraldinha (don't know the translation) as rare as possible and go for some shots of cachaça, preferrably Anísio Santiago or Havana. Enjoy!

It is conceivable I could make the Summit Point event. If fighting a speeding ticket does not interfere with my visiting my sister in Virginia for several weeks in May.
