    That does look frustratingly familiar. It seems to most likely be a trunk lid rather than side trim. If so the shape and color appear to fall into the mid-60s to early-70s. Trucks would typically have thicker trim, but I'm hard pressed to remember a creased, concave shape like that. The shape sort-of fits the 1969-70 Plymouth Satellite/Dodge Coronet . . . but not quite. I suppose another option could be a Kaiser-era Wagoneer in top-end trim, but I haven't found a picture that quite matches. Outta time!
