New Aston V12 Vantage Sounds Nasty. And Not in a Good Way. I Think.

As it's the same engine from the DBS, it stands to reason it will sound largely like a DBS, doesn't it? (Yes, some minor differences in exhaust tuning are possible.) Youtube is chock-full of Aston DBS videos that all sound fabulous under load.
The v8 sounds amazing on the road. I heard one just a couple days ago accelerating hard from a light. I imagine this is just a case of bad recording. The sound is clipping, that is, going past the max level and cracking.
Did they shut it down so quick because it was out of petrol? Driving a V12 DB7 Volante was the only time I can recall actually being able to see a fuel gauge needle swing toward "E". Scary.
Are you nut's That thing sounds nasty in a really really good way. Most V12's don't have a snarl like that. That is one bad MOFO . I would give my left you know what for that car. Simply Irresitable as the song goes .
