The REAL Star of Transporter 3?

“Express post or lightning-fast courier? If you are really in a hurry and have something to hide then there is only one mode of transport for you: the professional driver Frank Martin (Jason Statham). In his latest film, Transporter 3, he sets off action-packed fireworks, which set a standard even higher than he is used to. The sports pedals of ABT Sportsline and the forged alloys wheel set Forge A from AEZ can be seen in supporting roles in this exciting hunt for environmental terrorists.”

So... he can't drive stick or act. Hm.

@ Tommy - Go watch the first one. It's actually fun, the driving sequences are great auto porn, and oh yeah, he drives a Manual e38 735i... He forgot how to use the clutch when they shoved him in a big Audi...

The first and second movies were completely different in my book. But the greatest disappointment was probably that the driving sequences ended pretty much in the first 30 minutes of the first movie (let's not go into the intricacies and "style" of Luc Besson movies)... after that, there was not much reason to keep watching. The second one went a bit far - I mean really, driving an A6 off a ramp, making it do a barrel roll, AND hitting a crane so that a bomb was knocked off the underside of the car. No I'm not joking. Back to the post though, shiny pedals in a car! Unless we've got an under-dash camera, I don't see how this is much more than feeble advertising. And wow I guess AEZ has some dollars to throw.
