How many models that get 30 or more mpg on the highway? Who cares. They listed things like the Astra 3 door and Astra 5 door. Thats a different model? I guess so. Same with the cobalt. And when you cut yourself down to just 4 brands, how many will it be?
they have the technology to make an electric vehicle with batteries that will last 300,000 miles but they wont relaease it to the public. the reason is because they make a bigger profit on internal combustion engine cars. this is why they're pushing hybrids so much. all they are worrying about is how thay can make the most money now
Didn't we see an ad very much like this the last time GM stepped on it's collective weenie back in 2003?
Hi there, i dont get it,are they hoping the music will make its way into the public's subconcious so that they ultimately buy that shit. oh yeah youppi we will creat 10,000 green jobs, but will cut 35% of our dealers and sent another 20,000 people packing. oh common. i thought though and resilient economies are built on emplying more people and devising ways to generate greater revenue and profit. now i know drastic times call for drastic measuers. but i still think the quickest way for GM to save money is instead of cuttign out 10 workers that ear 100k a year, is cut a million bucks out of the top execs salaries, and not just the CEO's. and yeah listing 30 models that do 30mpg. i'd wonder how many VW would have if you ad every differnet model the same engine and tranny appears in. and why are they not mentioning the EV1, i think it's hightime to produce an EV2 and use it as a platform to develop the li-ion batteries they hope to get for the Volt project. anyway, god help the american auto workers, because 2008 was only the beginning, and with the same people at the helm, i dont see it getting better any time soon.
